Following a number of public information events which have recently taken place across South London, we will be holding a public information event in South Bermondsey.
You will be able to find out about works taking place at land on and next to our existing New Cross substation site. This is located north of the Old Kent Road (A2) in South Bermondsey. You will also be able to find out about the wider LPT2 project.
Members of the project team will be available at the event to talk you through our plans and answer any questions you have.
Our event will take place on:
|Tuesday 8th May||2pm-8pm||Links Community Centre,
353 Rotherhithe New Road,
We are also planning to build a tunnel between Hurst and Crayford. However, this part of the project is in early development and a public information event will be held in June to share further details.
Your feedback is really important to us and will help us to shape our thinking before we submit our planning applications for headhouses at Kings Avenue, Kidbrooke and Eltham in summer 2018. You will also be able to find out about works taking place at our existing substation site at Hurst and learn more about the wider LPT2 project.
The deadline for giving us your views is Tuesday 22nd May. Those unable to attend the events will be able to give their views online, in writing or over the telephone:
